Welcome to East Midlands RFU

The East Midlands Rugby Development Partnership (RDP) is the committee of the County Union tasked to plan, agree and implement our strategy for players under 7 through to 24 years old. All business is conducted with fairness and openness in mind, including those subsidiary committees that report to it.

Our remit covers development and retention of club players, both male and female, throughout their mini, junior and youth careers, overall control of representative County sides, School of Rugby and liaison with the Northampton Saints' Academy, together with development of Student Rugby, both in Schools and in Higher / Further education.
